1. Community Purpose and Eligibility
The WeeSofty Media Editor Community is a curated collective of verified video editors, motion graphic artists, and post-production specialists. Membership is open exclusively to approved creative professionals who successfully complete our portfolio assessment, identity verification, and technical vetting process.
2. Accurate Editor Profile Information
Editors must maintain accurate, current, and complete personal and professional details in their WeeSofty Media account. Misrepresenting software proficiencies, hardware specifications, turnaround capabilities, or previous production credits constitutes grounds for immediate application rejection or community suspension.
3. Portfolio Ownership and Permission to Share Work
Every sample edit, showreel excerpt, and portfolio link submitted during registration or displayed in an editor profile must be work originally edited by the applicant or work for which the editor had substantial creative involvement. Plagiarizing external showreels or claiming another artist's deliverables is strictly prohibited.
4. Project Assignment and Acceptance
Project assignments are matched based on demonstrated stylistic aptitude, software capabilities, past review ratings, and declared working availability. When an editor accepts a project claim, they enter into a binding creative agreement with WeeSofty Media to deliver work adhering to the project brief.
5. Deadlines and Communication
Timely delivery is essential to client satisfaction. Editors must respect all milestone dates, cut deadlines, and review timelines set within the project brief. In cases of unexpected hardware breakdown or personal emergency, editors must notify production management immediately.
6. Source Footage and Confidential Client Information
All raw source video footage, project briefs, scripts, audio stems, client branding assets, and communications shared through WeeSofty Media are strictly confidential proprietary assets. Editors may never publicly post, share, leak, or subcontract client raw footage without explicit written authorization.
7. Editing Quality and Delivery Requirements
Submissions must meet high industry production benchmarks: correct color space, synchronized audio, normalized sound levels, accurate graphic placement, correct framerate and resolution, and adherence to required client export presets.
8. Submission and Revision Procedures
All cuts and review deliverables must be submitted through the WeeSofty Media portal or authorized workspace links. Editors are expected to execute constructive revision requests promptly based on timestamped feedback from quality reviewers.
9. Work Review, Approval, and Rejection
Submitted deliverables undergo rigorous quality review. Once approved by the creative directors or client leads, compensation is logged to the editor's financial ledger. Persistent failure to implement revisions or deliver per brief specifications may result in project reassignment.
10. Intellectual Property and Usage Permissions
Upon final approval and financial settlement, all commercial rights, copyrights, and master assets transfer to WeeSofty Media and the commissioning client on a work-for-hire basis. Editors may request permission to use approved excerpts in private personal portfolios once public launch has occurred.
11. Respectful Community Behavior
WeeSofty Media fosters a collaborative, professional, and supportive community environment. Unprofessional communication, harassment, abusive language, or discrimination will result in immediate community removal.
12. Payment Requests and Payout Schedules
Earnings accumulate transparently upon project milestone sign-off. Editors may submit payout requests via their financial portal for direct manual UPI settlement to their verified UPI ID or bank account according to standard disbursement cycles.
13. Account Suspension and Termination
WeeSofty Media reserves the right to suspend or terminate editor privileges for material breaches of confidentiality, project abandonment, deliberate quality negligence, copyright violation, or abusive conduct.
14. Support and Dispute Handling
Our creative operations team is committed to fair and transparent community management. Editors may raise billing questions, project scope clarifications, or operational disputes directly through our official WhatsApp support channel.
